Health Systems – Nursing Administration & Leadership
The Health Systems program at the University of Iowa College of Nursing prepares the next generation of nurse leaders by providing the knowledge and skillsets needed to innovate, excel in quality improvement, evidence-based management practices, and systems management. As one of the college’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs, Health Systems is intertwined with Nursing Administration & Leadership and the curriculum is taught by faculty who are national leaders in areas such as informatics, innovation, high reliability organizations, teams, leadership effectiveness, health policy, microsystem improvement, health care technology, clinical education, and evidence-based practice.
