BSN - Direct Admission FAQs

Students who earn admission into the College of Nursing via Early Admission are expected to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 after the first academic year (defined as fall and spring session), and the subsequent semesters prior to beginning the Nursing major coursework. Student must also have no incidents with the law (including, but not limited to alcohol-, drug-, assault-, or fraud-related offenses). Student records will be reviewed at the end of the first year at the university and at the end of each following semester. Any violations of the above conditions could result in probation or dismissal from the College of Nursing. A student would still be eligible for Competitive Admission.

We recognize that attending the University needs to be affordable to students and families. We encourage you to connect with the Office of Student Financial Aid to review your personal situation and obtain the information needed for an informed decision.
