Understanding Autism

Autism describes a group of developmental disorders that affects social behaviors, brain development, and communication. People affected by autism are often misunderstood because they do not interact with others and the world around them in ways one might expect.

Alumni Form NP-Run Clinic in Minnesota

Connie White Delaney (MA ′78, College of Nursing; PhD ′86 College of Education) and Thomas Clancy (BSN ′78 & PhD ′06, College of Nursing; MBA ′93) recently helped create a new nurse practitioner-led clinic in Minneapolis.

By opening this NP-run clinic, Professor Delaney, PhD, RN, FAAN, dean, Professor Clancy, PhD, MBA, RN, FAAN, and others at the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing, are transforming health care.
