The Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders (IONL) recently learned that it won the 2018 AONE Affiliate Achievement Award. Jennifer Nutt is currently the director of IONL. In addition to this executive leadership role, Nutt has more than 10 years of nursing experience in the inpatient setting and holds two degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice focusing on Health Systems—both from the University of Iowa.
The University of Iowa’s Center of Excellence in Pain Education (CoEPE), part of an initiative to strengthen pain research via collaborative efforts from UI’s Colleges of Nursing, Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, and the School of Social Work, was recently featured in the College of Public Health’s InSight magazine.
