Taylor Bestowed with Women of Influence Award

Associate Professor Janette Taylor, PhD, RN, WHNP-BC, FAAN, was recently recognized as a 2018 Woman of Influence by the Pi Kappa Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

According to the sorority, the award was created “to honor women who have shown a commitment to the progression of students, staff, and/or faculty of color … all-the-while exuding professionalism, excellence, and integrity.”

UI College of Nursing Partners with Free Medical Clinic to Expand Care

A new partnership between the University of Iowa College of Nursing and the Iowa City Free Medical and Dental Clinic (FMC) aims to expand student learning experiences as well as access to medical care for local residents who can’t afford to visit a provider’s office because they have insufficient health insurance or no insurance at all.
