Biography

Dr. Toni Tripp-Reimer is a nurse-anthropologist with an emphasis on ethnogeriatrics. Initially focusing on ethnic elders’ health behaviors, more recently she has developed and tested transcultural nursing interventions using community based participatory research. Currently, she is Associate Dean for Nursing Research, the Director of an NINR-funded P30 [Gerontological Nursing Interventions Research Center, 1993-2010], and Director, Community Engagement Key Function of the NIH funded CTSA at Iowa.
