DNP Student Presents at Renowned EBP Conference
Kourtney Yoder, BSN, RN, a current PNP-DNP student who is graduating in the spring of 2015, successfully presented at the 22nd National Evidence-Based Practice Conference in Coralville last week.
The EBP conference highlights research and evidence regarding nursing workload and outcomes related to health care quality and staff wellness.
Speaking during the conference’s pediatrics session, Yoder’s presentation was titled “Improving Dyslipidemia Screening and Treatment in Children.”
This EBP conference was jointly sponsored by UIHC’s Department of Nursing Services & Patient Care, the UI College of Nursing’s Hartford Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence, the college’s Office for Nursing Research and Scholarship, and Sigma Theta Tau International – Gamma Chapter.
