Biography

Debra J. Strobel came to the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 2006 as a lecturer. She has taught throughout her time in the RN-BSN program in the areas of health assessment, community and public health, and nursing leadership. Prior to and during her teaching experience, she has had a multitude of work experiences that have provided added insight into her teaching. Since 2017, she has assisted with an on-campus writing-intensive course, providing support in the areas of clear, concise writing with APA application. She especially enjoys each semester and learning from each cohort of students about their views on health care in the United States.
