Congratulations to Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, OH, for graduating their second cohort of RN residents. The July 2022 cohort of 18 new graduates completed the year-long program and presented their professional experiences during the graduation ceremony on Friday, July 7, 2023. The nurse residents came from various departments such as ER, PACU, medical surgical, cardiac, labor and delivery, and ICU.

“During their first year as nurses at the health system, they identified phenomenal change projects to improve nursing practice while keeping the patient at the center of everything we do. The projects and proposed solutions were backed by current research and evidence-based practices,” said Site-Coordinator, Denitra Hendershot, MSN, RN, Educational Services Specialist, Marietta Memorial Hospital.
