Introducing the Registered Nurse Resident Apprenticeship

With the addition of grant funds through Iowa Workforce Development the Online Nurse Residency Program has expanded and is providing another delivery option!

What is a Registered Nurse Resident Apprenticeship?

An RN Resident Apprenticeship begins after the Nurse is a licensed Registered Nurse and includes the facilities orientation involving a clinical immersion (unit-based orientation with precepted clinical experience) + delivery didactic instruction for related training.  In this case the didactic instruction is the IONRP. We provide tools to support clinical immersion and the curriculum for the related instruction creating a Registered Apprenticeship.
