The University of Iowa College of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is ranked No. 4 in the nation and is tied for No. 1 among public universities, according to the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings released today.
This is the third year U.S. News & World Report has ranked undergraduate nursing programs, and the third year Iowa's BSN program has been in the top ten in the nation.
"This ranking is the result of the hard work of our students, staff, faculty, and clinical partners, as well as the ongoing dedication of our alumni," said Dean Julie Zerwic, PhD, RN, FAHA, FAAN. "Every time that you go out and represent [the college], you are contributing to the outstanding reputation of the University of Iowa College of Nursing."
In April, U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools ranked four of the college's graduate programs in the top ten:
- #4 Pediatric Primary Care Doctor of Nursing Practice
- #4 Master of Science in Nursing - Clinical Nurse Leader
- #10 Adult/Gerontology, Acute Care Doctor of Nursing Practice
- #10 Nurse Anesthesia*
