Biography

Amanda Richardson has worked at the University of Iowa as a post-operative nurse since 2012. During this time, she gained experience in the position of assistant nurse manager of the surgery specialty unit until transitioning back into the staff nurse role to begin teaching at the College of Nursing in 2018. During her time as a nurse leader, Amanda focused on nurse retention and satisfaction and its effects on patient outcomes. She currently functions as a Medical-Surgical clinical instructor.
