The Iowa Online Nurse Residency Program (IONRP) team, including Program Director Nicole Weathers, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, Program Coordinator Jessica Ociepka, MSN, RN-BC, and Program Coordinator Amanda Bruscher, BSN, RN, recently attended and exhibited at the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) 2025 Aspire Convention in Las Vegas, NV, from April 29 to May 2.

Nicole Weathers had the honor of serving on the ANPD Convention Content Planning Committee (CPC), contributing to the development of the convention's educational content and ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience for attendees.

The ANPD Aspire Convention is a cornerstone event for nursing professional development practitioners, bringing together leaders and learners to share insights, foster connections, and advance the specialty. At their exhibit, the IONRP team showcased their innovative online nurse residency program, which supports new nurse graduates in their transition to professional practice. The program emphasizes evidence-based curriculum, flexible delivery options, and a focus on clinician wellbeing.

Reflecting on the experience, Weathers shares, “It was incredibly rewarding to connect with so many passionate professionals who are committed to shaping the future of nursing and growing our specialty. Our team is proud to be a part of an organization that prioritizes nurses' growth and ongoing development across the career continuum.”
