One Day for Iowa, the University of Iowa's 24-hour online giving day, is Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
On this annual day of giving, Hawkeyes from around the country and the world join together to support students, faculty, research, health care, athletics, and more. In 2020, $1.1 million was raised to fund everything from trumpets for the marching band to scholarships for nursing students.
THREE AREAS TO SUPPORT
This year, the College of Nursing is raising funds for three key areas:
- The Csomay Center for Gerontological Excellence (to support the Csomay Community of Scholars, development of a palliative care incubator, and the Csomay Summer Scholars program)
- Nursing Student Financial Aid Fund (to provide unrestricted support for student scholarships and loans)
- SRNA Scholarship Fund (to support the Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist (SRNA) program)
