More than 7,600 undergraduate students were named to the University of Iowa dean’s and president’s lists for the spring 2022 semester, and 383 were in the College of Nursing. Released last month, the lists recognize academic achievement and excellence.
Three hundred eighty-three undergraduate students from the College were named to the dean’s list, indicating they participated in clinical courses, had a total of 12 semester hours of earned credit, and had eight semester hours of graded credit with a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must have a minimum 4.0 GPA in all academic subjects for the preceding two semesters, with a total of at least 12 semester hours of graded credit with a 4.0 each semester. One hundred forty-two college of nursing students achieved this level of excellence.
