Both Frost and Nimtz will be attending the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Research Symposium and CNL Summit this month in Tampa, Florida.

Conference topics generally include the impact and value of the CNL role on improving patient outcomes, implementing and sustaining the CNL role across diverse systems of care, the CNL role in quality and safety initiatives, innovations in education, and the complementary relationship between the CNL and other members of the health care team. The CNL Research Symposium, focuses on the CNL’s role in data collection and evaluation for reporting clinical outcomes.
“I would like to congratulate Eric and Annie on being awarded these scholarships,” said Maria Lindell Joseph, professor (clinical), director of the college’s MSN-CNL program. “The University of Iowa has a long, distinguished, and proud history of being on the forefront of leadership knowledge and future nurse leader preparation and they are shining examples of what our highly ranked program is all about.”
