The Iowa Online Nurse Residency Program (IONRP) proudly served as a Silver Sponsor at the 2025 ANCC Transition to Practice (TTP) Symposium, held May 29–31 in Phoenix, Arizona. This premier event convened nurse educators, residency coordinators, and healthcare leaders from across the country to share best practices and advance the future of transition-to-practice programs.
As part of its sponsorship, IONRP supported the Day 1 Snack Break, where attendees had the opportunity to recharge and network between sessions. Attendees were also encouraged to visit the IONRP Sponsor Table during scheduled breaks to connect with Program Director Nicole Weathers, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, and explore how the program's evidence-based, flexible approach to nurse residency is innovating beyond traditional residency models.
Representing IONRP at the symposium, Dr. Weathers described the event as an energizing conclusion to the spring conference season. She emphasized the value of engaging with nursing professional development leaders from across the country and noted the importance of supporting meaningful dialogue around transition-to-practice strategies.
During the symposium, Dr. Weathers also reconnected with long-standing IONRP partners, including Presbyterian Healthcare Services—an ANCC PTAP-accredited organization that has partnered with IONRP since 2016—and Mary Greeley Medical Center, which joined the program in 2022 and is now beginning its journey toward accreditation. She highlighted these partnerships as examples of the program’s sustained impact and commitment to supporting excellence in nurse residency.
IONRP expressed its appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the symposium and to support the vibrant community of nurse educators and leaders dedicated to shaping the future of nursing practice.
