Ms. Schaefer earned both her MSN in nursing education and BSN from Creighton University. She joins the College of Nursing from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa, where she served as an assistant professor and has also taught at Mount Mercy and Creighton University. Ms. Schaefer gained her clinical expertise in pediatric critical care at children's hospitals in Nebraska, Indiana, and Connecticut.
