Mary Beth Davis, PhD, RN, VA-BC

Biography
Dr. Davis earned her MSN with a concentration in nursing education from Mount Mercy University and her BSN and PhD from the University of Iowa. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the UI College of Nursing. Dr. Davis brings specialized clinical expertise in pediatrics and vascular access, along with a commitment to advancing innovation in vascular access care and maintenance. She has nearly 20 years of nursing experience, including 16 years as nursing practice leader-pediatric vascular access at Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Her research aims to enhance caregiver engagement in the home management of medically complex children and improve clinical outcomes for hospitalized pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions.
