Biography
Dr. Malloy earned her PhD in Clinical Nursing Science, with a minor in Life Sciences, from the Indiana University School of Nursing. She subsequently completed a T32-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington School of Nursing.
Her research focuses on advancing symptom science and improving health outcomes for individuals with complex chronic diseases. Her work spans pediatric and child health, pain and symptom science, and multimorbidity research, with an emphasis on the biobehavioral investigation of sleep and symptom experiences among adolescents with inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
