Jennifer Birlson has been a registered nurse since 2005. She has been progressive cardiac nurse for eight years working on a telemetry step-down unit and spent two years as a Bariatric program clinical coordinator creating a new surgical weight reduction program. She also worked for six years on UIHC’s Surgery Specialty Unit serving trauma, vascular, transplant, digestive disease, and bariatric patients.
