My research examines demographic and contextual factors influencing shingles (herpes zoster) vaccination among Iowa adults aged 50 and older. By analyzing public health data before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, I aim to identify how disparities change and inform strategies to improve vaccination coverage. In addition, I conduct qualitative inquiry to explore how key influencing factors shape shingles vaccination decisions and outcomes.
