Sherif Olanrewaju

Biography

Dr. Olanrewaju earned his PhD from the Pennsylvania State University School of Nursing and subsequently completed a T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship through the National Institute of Nursing Research at the National Institutes of Health in collaboration with the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research.

His scholarly work focuses on the intersections of the nursing workforce, long-term care services, aging, health disparities, and health policy. His research seeks to improve care delivery and health outcomes for older adults, particularly those with complex physical and mental health needs. He is particularly interested in understanding how social determinants of health influence outcomes and in developing integrated models of nursing care that address both physical and mental health needs.
